Hydrilla

The Power and Rejuvenation Ability of the Hydra…Now in Supplement Form

Do you remember the myth of Hercules fighting against the Hydra? The Hydra was a dragon or serpent like creature and when each one of it’s heads was chopped off, two grew back it it’s place, proving a difficult beast to overcome.
Hydra
Hydrilla Verticillata is a fresh water plant. Its name comes from the famed Hydra, in that when any part of it is chopped off it quickly grows back, in under 24 hours! If something can grow that fast it has to be powerful…and it’s nutritional components are powerful as you’ll see.
Hydrilla Supplement – 100 gram bag – $39.95
You may remember it as the plant in your fish tank as a kid. However it’s been outlawed as when that was flushed down the toilet, along with the dead fish, it’s been known to take over entire ecosystems and cost millions of dollars to deal with as its so fast growing and invasive. But that’s enough about the problems its caused, let’s talk about Hydrilla Verticillata benefits…
Hydrilla

Hydrilla is the Most Concentrated Source
of Vitamin B12 in the World!

There are 500mcg of B12 in one tablespoon! That’s 7750% of the daily value. This is a perfect food for vegetarians and vegans. Even many meat-eaters are notoriously low on B12. It’s probably this component over the others that gives you the boost in energy that Hydrilla delivers.
Don’t worry that it’s too much. According to the National Institute of Health’s Office of Dietary Supplements, B12 showed no side effects in people taking 1mg (that’s 1000mcg) per day for a period of 5 years. In fact there is no known upper limit of B12.
Here’s a few things Vitamin B12 can do for you:
  • Critical for Brain and Nervous System Health
  • Important for the Formation of Neurotransmitters and Myelin Sheath
  • As a Result B12 may help uplift Depression, Fatigue, Brain Fog and Anxiety
  • Play a Major Role in DNA and RNA Synthesis

High in Highly Absorbable Calcium

Just one tablespoon contains 624 mg, almost two thirds of your daily Calcium needs, in a highly absorbable form, with all necessary co-factors.
  • Has a sedative effect on the sympathetic nervous system
  • Contributes to normal brain function
  • Necessary for blood pressure regulation and blood clotting
  • Critical role in many cellular and metabolic processes
  • Buffers over acidity (so that your body doesn’t need to pull calcium from your bones and teeth!)
  • Facilitates the process of muscle contraction in the cell
Hydrilla also is much more. It is a complete protein. Hydrilla is a rooted underwater plant. This means it pulls nutrients from the water and soil. It is full of minerals including many trace ones.
It’s high in Vitamin A and many other B vitamins too.
It is also fairly high in Iron so if your doctor has told you to avoid iron, you’ll have to skip the Hydrilla too.

Our product is a dried powder, 20:1 extract of the hydrilla plant. Our recommendation is to start with a teaspoon of Hydrilla per day and gradually move up to a tablespoon. There are approximately 21 tablespoons in one hundred gram bag.
It mixes fairly well in water and doesn’t have much of a taste.
